Quick and Easy online check-in

• For Qantas domestic and QantasLink e-tickets
• Available from 24 hours prior to and up to 1 hour before departure

Online check-in is a fast, convenient way to check in for your flight, whether you are at home or at the office. All you need is access to the internet and a printer, in order to print out your boarding pass.

To check in online:

1. go to Qantas.com, select “Manage your booking”
2. enter your booking reference and last name, and click “go”
3. click the “Online Check-in” button
4. follow the 5 easy steps and print your boarding pass

If you have logged in using your frequent flyer details, your booking will already be listed on the screen, and completing the process will be much simpler.

Similarly, Virgin Blue offer online check-in.

Go to Virginblue.com.au, and enter your reservation number and departure city.

1. Your itinerary will be displayed
2. If needed, you can change your seat, answer the Dangerous Goods questions, add bags to be checked in, and print the boarding pass
3. Proceed to the airport, drop your bags at the designated Bag Drop counter, and proceed to the boarding gate.
4. Online check-in operates for the same period as Qantas – that is from 24 hours prior to departure, and to 1 hour beforehand.
